Sharp-wittedFootball Administrator, Wilfred Kwaku Osei Palmer, has disclosed that Football would’ve resumed if he was the Ghana Football Association President amid Covid-19 downturn.
Football has been on halt since March following a Presidential decree from Nana Addo Danquah Akufo-Addo,placing a ban on all sporting activities including football.
All efforts from GFA in resuming football has failed and Kwaku Osei Palmer believes the proposals from the association to the government is empty and can not convince them to allow the game to return
“The Ghana Premier League would resume if I were the GFA President. I would have given a comprehensive proposal to the government to convinced on why football must resume.”- Palmer Told Angel Tv
“They(GFA) were lucky the government didn’t throw out their proposal because it was empty.
If Proper consultations and documentation of Financial, Economists and medical advice were gathered and presented to Government, football would’ve to be resumed a long time. This is what the Europeans did” he ended.
