Ghana Black starlets have been eliminated from ongoing WAFU Zone B tournament after losing 3-1 to Cote d’Ivoire on Tuesday afternoon at the Stade Kengue, Togo.
After a good start where Ghana drew 1-1 with Nigeria,
Black starlets needed a draw to progress to the next stage of the competition but a masterclass from Arafat Doumbia saw him score a hat-trick to dash the hope of Ghana.
The young elephants are now leading group B table with 6 points.
Coach Ben Fokuo and his boys will return to the country by tomorrow Wednesday, 13th January 2021.
