Hearts of oak defender Christopher Bonney has revealed that he is leaving the continental club masters and said Inter Allies is his next destination after felling off the pecking order at the right back position in Nii Odoom’s team
The goalscoring right back joined the Accra based club from Ebusua Dwarf and became a key member in Kim Grant’s team
Change of coach and system saw club captain, Fatawu Mohammed revert back to his original position after Kim pushed him from right back to more advance position to accommodate Bonney in the team.
What further ‘killed’ Bonney’s hopes was the emergence of Sumaila Larry who has managed to ‘steal’ the right back position from even fatawu after displaying solid performances in the Ghana league.
Speaking about the situation which has seen him make zero appearance in the league for hearts this season, Bonney said he is set to move away from Hearts for Inter Allies
“I think if the league resumes, i will leave hearts of oak for inter Allies on loan”- Bonney told Ewusi Patrick on Green fm
“Inter Allies wrote to hearts that they need me, and i dont think it’s bad move, am also ready to join them.”he ended.
The former Asante Kotoko defender went to justify the move and said there are alot of players who go out on loan and becomes best players of the club he is also going to Allies to perform well and return to hearts a more better player.
