Kumasi Asante Kotoko has identified Karela United’s midfield maestro, Emmanuel Keyekeh as plan B, in case their pursuit of Justice Blay doesn’t go through.
Blay, had a one year stint with the Porcupine warriors and was a huge success, following his return to his parent club after his loan deal came to an end, Medeama SC through their communication department has indicated that, talks are ongoing between the two clubs over a possible return,this time on permanent basis.
However, Halftimegh.com can confirm that, The Kumasi-Based club is not ready to pay the $200000 asking price by Medeama, and we can also disclosed that, though Blay want Kotoko return, Medeama wants to sell him to the foreign market hence the need for Kotoko to look elsewhere.
source close to this portal says, Maxwell Konadu head coach of kotoko has penciled down [Emmanuel] Keyekeh as the player to come in should Blay negotiation breaks down.
The Royal club will need one more midfielder ahead of their CAF Champions league campaign next season.
Keyekeh, 22, who is on the radar of Hearts of oak is one of the best midfielders in the local scene, and the 24-time Ghana premier league champions believe his profile fits in well to the project they want to embark.
