It was wednesday evening when the news broke out that Asante kotoko team bus heading to Kumasi from Accra after Ghana Premier league game has crashed at Nkwakwa claiming the life of one person who was later confirmed as the equipment officer of the club.
Kotoko suffered this tragedy following a 1-0 lost to Inter Allies in Match day 22 of GPL.
Three years after the sad event, the club has refused to compensate the victims involve and its been revealed that, the Bus that got crashed was not insured reason for none payment of the compensation by the past management.
However, Kotoko Express records show that 20 individuals, groups and institutions donated over Ghc100,000 to the victims. Hollard insurance refunded medical bills paid by the club.
Coach Steve Polack, the Driver of the bus when it got crashed and the players who were involved have demanded for their compensation from the new constituted board and reports say, they are condering paying them.
