Hearts of oak goalkeeper Richard Baidoo is ready to snub a chance to go out on loan to fight for his place in Nii Odoom’s team
Baidoo, was ask by Patrick Ewusi if he will go out on loan in search of regular first-team football from the Accra based team, as the goalkeeping department has two National team keepers in Attah Richard, Ayi Richmond and experience Ben Mensah which will be difficult for him to get a chance.
However, the 21-year-old insists he has no plans to go out on loan and is determined to push his claims to be a regular in Nii Odoom’s side.
“I won’t go out on loan, I want to stay and fight for my place at Hearts, because am encouraged by what happened to me at my previous club (Gye Nyame) I stayed there for three seasons, without getting a chance until the third season, and after the first round, I finally got my chance because i knew my time will come and it finally came, I believed God has time everybody”- Baidoo told Green Fm
“Is true Richard [Attah] Richmond [Ayi] and Ben [Mensah] are ahead of me, but am learning from them and adding their qualities to mine, so when the day comes for me to show what I’ve got, then they will know am ready”He Concluded.
Baidoo joined the Giant club in 2017 and was immediately sent out on loan to second tier side Samartex 1996
