Ghana International Daniel Amartey scored the only goal to Savage a draw for his team Leicester City against Blackburn Rovers in the last preseason game which ended 1-1 on Saturday afternoon at the King Power stadium.
The Ghanaian International was introduced into the game on the hour mark in place of Wilfred Ndidi and immediately made an impact.
Amartey scored in the opener for the foxes on the 67th minute after the midfielder nodded home from the far post to put his side one up after the game had ended in a draw in the first half.
The lead lasted for 10 minutes as Derrick Williams scored to pull parity in the 80th minute to make sure the match finished level
The 25-year-old who has not played for Leicester first team since last summer’s pre-season will hope to put those setbacks behind him and get his career back on track with the former Premier League side.
A great moment for @DanAmartey ?
