Proton Sports CEO and close associate of GFA President Ibrahim Dossey has conceded that Kurt is facing unfounded accusations similar to that of former President Kwesi Nyantakyi by the media
Nyantakyi who rose to the highest level of football after becoming CAF first vice chairman and FIFA Executive council member, faced a strong media scrutiny and critism over alleged corrupt practices
Speaking to Accra-based TV Mr Dossey said all the media backlashed Nyantakyi Administration faced turned out to be untrue and fears his friend will face similar ordeal
“Former president [Kwesi] Nyantakyi was chastised by a session of the media on things He did not do but were purported he did, that’s how come the term ‘Sika die’ came to about, now it is known that He never took monies from the GFA accounts but unfortunately he has been destroyed by these fake stories” Dossey said on Ashaiman Tv
“Now Kurt is in and trying to build the brand again but He is facing the same problem by the media but I trust Kurt, he is a strong character and will definitely achieve his aim before bowing out as the GFA president, let’s all support Kurt and He will deliver.”
