The communication director of Medeama Sc has said he is surprised over the action of GFA, asking for the advised of Finance committee before disbursing FIFA’s Covid-19 relief funds, discribing it as needless.
FIFA approved $1.5 billion grant last week to its members of which GFA was expected to recieve $1 million and additional $500000 purposely for women’s football
GFA has subsequently tasked the Finance committee to give them the modalities as to how they should disbursed the funds
Responding to the issue, Akoto said, the directive of the FA to involve the Finance committee is not neccessary
“It is unnecessary for GFA to tasked the Finance committee to advise the FA on how to disburse Covid -19 relief funds” Akoto told Spice fm
“The FA just need calculator to disburse the money for the club. He concluded.
