Mali made short work of Ghana on Friday night with a 3-0 friendly win featuring a trio of Les Aigles players scoring the goals for the senior team.
Stade Rennais Hamare Toure opened the scoring on his 25 appearances for Mali after picking a delightful through pass from Cheick Dacoure to slot the ball with his right foot from the right side of the 18-yard box into the bottom left corner with no little to do by helpless Lawrence Ati zigi for 1-0 lead in the third minute.
Mali doubled their lead shortly after the restart Stad de Riems’ El Bilal Toure met Hamari sumptuous cross with a powerful header from the centre of the Ghana area past Ati Zigi who could do nothing about it for 2-0 lead in the 49th minute.
Amadou Haidara scored from a difficult angle after his first attempt hit the inside of the post following a beautiful run which saw the RB Leipzig man beat the offside trap of the Black stars.
