After their impressive weekend win over their rivals Accra Hearts of oak, Great Olympics have gone on to beat inconsistent King Faisal at the Accra sports stadium on Tuesday afternoon.
The wonder club defeated the Isha Allah boys to record their sixth win of the season to move to joint top of the 2020-2021 Ghana Premier League.
Olympics went into the game without two of their key performers Gladson Awako and Michel Ottou but goals from Charles Danso 40’, Ashie-Quaye Samuel 55’, and Micahel Yeboah 82’ ensured that the home side keep the maximum points.
Frimpong Boateng scored the only consolation goal for the visitors.
The results mean, King Faisal are now joint top of the league with 21 points.
Whereas King Faisal is just above the relegation zone with 10 points.
Both clubs will play Bechem United and Medeama sporting club respectively in their week 13 fixtures on February 6.
