Ghana’s Majeed Ashimeru will not be joining his national teammates after his club stated that it has blocked all players from honouring International call-ups this month.
Following the directive by Football Club Red Bull Salzburg, Majeed Ashimeru will not honour his invitation into the black stars to play in a doubleheader game against Sudan in Africa cup of nations qualifiers this week.

A club statement read.
The former Ghana U-23 star was handed a late call-up by Coach CK Akonnor for the crucial game but as it stands the playmaker will not be available.
