Accra Hearts of Oak striker Kwadwo Obeng Jnr has disclosed his goals are still waiting for him at Dormaa Ahenkro.
Aduana stars were to face Hearts of Oak in week 1 of the Ghana premier league on Saturday 14th November 2020 at Osagyefo Oseade3yo Agyemang Badu I sports stadium, but the game was postponed due to covid-19 issues.
Kwadwo Obeng Jnr then promised to score against his former side.
In an interview with Rockson Adjei Yeboah on the Focal sports show on Fox 97.9 FM, he said, “my goals are still waiting for me at Dormaa Ahenkro, and I will score against them”.
When asked about his target for the season
“My target for this season is to help my club win this year’s league, but winning the top scorer’s award will be a plus for me”.
The in-form striker has formed a formidable understanding between himself with teammate Patrick Razak and said their secret is down to advising themselves often and that helped them to thrash Dreams FC.
Obeng Jr started his playing career at Dormaa before moving on after failing to break into the first team.
Obeng Jnr has scored 3 goals in four (4) games in the ongoing Ghana premier league.
