The national sports Authority has suspended the charges of the use of Accra sports stadium after a successful meeting with Ghana Football Association President Kurt Okraku and the leadership of some premier clubs.
Following the released of a statement from the government agency spelling out the fees each club will pay to use Accra sports stadium, Kurt Okraku expressed his dissatisfaction.
According to Okraku, the 20,000 and 15,000 cedis to be paid by category B and C clubs respectively during each home games at the Accra Sports Stadium are excessive figures which will affect the financial capacity of football clubs and promised to meet the NSA to find a way out.
NSA has released a statement this morning suspending their earlier statements.
This development is a big relief because Five clubs [Hearts of oak, Asante Kotoko, Inter Allies, Great Olympics, Legon cities] have adopted Accra sports stadium as their home grounds.
Ghana premier league will start on the 13th of October 2020.
