Ghana Football Association President Kurt Okraku has reacted to charges rolled out by National sports Authority over the use of Accra sports stadium, saying the charges are too huge.
According to Okraku, the 20,000 and 15,000 cedis to be paid by category B and C clubs respectively during each home games at the Accra Sports Stadium are excessive figures whichwill affect the financial capacity of football clubs.
”I have read in the public space a statement from the NSA on new stadia user facility charges. I will say this is unfortunate and our GFA will engage the NSA on this exorbitant and unacceptable fees… !!!!!!#bringbackthelove,” Okraku posted on Facebook Tuesday afternoon.
Five clubs [Hearts of oak, Asante Kotoko, Inter Allies, Great Olympics, Legon cities] have adopted Accra sports stadium as their home grounds.
Meanwhile, Kotoko will also play their champions league home games at the Accra sports stadium after the temporal ban of Baba Yara sports stadium
Ghana premier league will start on the 13th of October 2020.
