Asante Kotoko Supporters In ‘Porcupine’ WhatsApp Group, has raised a significant amount of money to pay the Rent of Nana Berchie, the former driver for kotoko who was behind the steer when the team bus crashed at Nkwakwa when club was returning to Kumasi after a Ghana Premier league game where Kotoko lost 1-0 to Inter Allies.
About three weeks ago, one of Kotoko’s dedicated servants, Berchie, was in the news sharing his experience three years after the accident and his multiple surgeries.
He talked about financial constraints, his rent and other issues. This moved fans in the “Porcupines” WhatsApp group to raise funds for him, though the figure was the amount was not indicated but information reaching us is that, the group has paid rent for years for their former servant
Upon recieving the gift, Berchie was touched – nearly moved to tears because he was unaware. This is the type of fans Kotoko have: Nice, kind and wonderful people! Keep up the spirit!
