Kotoko chose to play their home games at the Accra sports stadium at some point last season due to the ongoing renovation works at the Baba Yara sports stadium.
The Kumasi-based team has alerted Club licensing board to consider their new proposal, though their reasons for the change of their home venue is unclear, the number of Premier League clubs (5) who are using Accra stadium may have necessitated this decision.
Kotoko has played one game at the Accra sports stadium this season with the match ending 1-1 draw against Techiman eleven wonders.
Since the beginning of last season, Kotoko has not lost a single game at the Accra sports stadium. (5)
