Asante Kotoko sporting club, has sent a cryptic message to their first-team captain, Felix Annan, by reminding him of the impressive statistics Kwame Baah recorded in the cancelled 2019/2020 Ghana Premier League, after the embattled goalkeeper, granted an interview to rant about his current situation at the club, which has seen him lose his place in the Kotoko team and made it seem as if he lost his spot to a bad player.
It all happened when Annan, sought permission to absent himself from the team to prepare for his wedding after Match Week 3. Upon his return, he has had to warm the bench as Baah, was liked to him by coach Maxwell Konadu.
Though there has been no football in Ghana for the past 5 months, Annan, in an interview with Germany based radio station, reflected on his situation and the 25-year-old believes he deserves some level of support for all what he has done for the club, and even the though he has a very good relationship with Baah, he thinks he should be given his number one spot back because keeping some few clean sheets and winning games with the side is not enough for Baah to keep him on the bench.
It is at the back of this that Kotoko took to their social media handles to acknowledged the impressive statistics of Baah.
IMPRESSIVE!!
The only goalkeeper not to concede more than a goal in 10 consecutive games in the cancelled 2019/2020 @ghanafaofficial Premier League season.🧤#AKSC #StaySafe #AriseLetsBuild #KumApem pic.twitter.com/VX7lfhc2mX

The tweet reads.
Baah kept the post in ten league games and helped the Porcupines to 5 wins, 1 defeat and 4 draws before the revocation of the season due to the Coronavirus pandemic.
