Ghana premier league season opener between Legon Cities and Berekum Chelsea saw thieves ransacking the team buses of both clubs, taking belongings worth thousands of cedis at the Accra sports stadium on Saturday evening.
According to Kickgh.com reporter Lateef Abdul Sadick at the Accra Sports Stadium, the thieves raid the buses of both sides when the match was ongoing.
Items such as Laptops, Phones, Monies, and football boats etc were taken away by the intruders
The National Sports Authority who is the custodian of the venue is yet to make an official statement on the issue.
The game ended 1-1 with the goals scored by Stephen Amankona and Jonah Attuquaye in the first half.
