Swiss giants, FC Basel has identified sensational Ghanaian international Issahaku Fatawu Abdul as a prospect and is ready to pay €1 million for the services of the AFCON U-20 best player.
According to reports by Kumasi-based Oyerepa FM, Basel has its proposal ready and will pay an initial amount of €500,000 and the balance of €500,000 when the Steadfast player attains 18years.
Fatawu will earn up to €30000 a month after when he finally sign professional contracts next year.
The 17-year-old sharp left-footed winger was a delight to watch after helping the Black Satellites of Ghana to win its fourth U-20 AFCON trophy a few weeks ago in Mauritania.
