MP for Assin Central Honorable Kennedy Agyapong has disclosed on Accra based radio that, he will no longer invest in Ghana football because his preferred candidate George Afriyie lost during GFA Presidential elections last October
The controversial Business man during a speech at the birthday party of George [Afriyie] at mensvic hotel, told football people to do things right and make the football in the country attractive so investors like himself will come and invest and went on to added that, if possible they should all support George who himself took the opportunity that same night to revealed his intentions to contest the GFA elections.
Unfortunately for George and his supporters, Kurt Okraku emerged as the winner of the keenly contested elections.
Kurt led administration are doing all they can to attract investors and when ask if he will invest in Ghana football as he alluded in the past, Ken, said no way, the fact that delegates voted for another person and not his friend George means he is not spending a dime on anything football in the country
“He didnt win so i wont support, i was expecting George to win, because he is somebody i could reason with so we can change the face of Ghana football, you didnt vote for him why should i waste my money? Why should i do that?”, he quizzed the host on Oman fm
“I wont do it, read my lips i wont do it.”he concluded
