It was the first away win of the season for the Phobians. The Phobians secured their second victory of the 2020/2021 thanks to goals from Benjamin Afutu and late penalty converted by Manaf Umar Gumah.
Despite securing this important away victory after the shambolic performance in the midweek against Aduana Stars, head coach Kosta Papic has once again expressed how unhappy he is with the boy’s performances.
According to Papic, his midfielders especially till now are not connecting very well like he’s expecting and will have to work on them as soon as possible.
“The midfielders still don’t understand what i still want. We are going to see how thing are going to turn out after three or four matches.”
“Last-minute scoring the goal, three points very important. We must be happy but for me i am not happy due to the performance.” Papic revealed during the post match interview.
This is the third official game since the 60-year old gaffer took over in which Accra Hearts of Oak has recorded two victories and with one loss. The Phobians have scored five goals, conceeding 4 goals.
