Accra hearts of oak is one of the biggest clubs on the Africa continent but has seen a sharp decline in their fortunes in recent years
Hearts have won the Ghana Premier League twenty times, the FA cup a record ten times, the President’s Cup twice,CAFChampions League and the CAF Confederations Cup. Hearts of Oak was also ranked 8th football club in the world in the year 2000 when the club dominated most of the continent sporting activities
After winning the 2009 Ghana Premier league, the Phobians have gone on a ten-year streak without winning the title
However, the Ghanaian Giant is not the only club on the continent that has gone on a decade drought without winning a league
