The former Tema City Football Club skipper goal in the second half proved to be vital as his side held on to collect the maximum three points at stake.
The home side, Qalali Club took the lead and ended the first half with 2-1. The hosts scored on the 23rd minute and 30th minutes before the visitors pulled one back during the five minutes added time.
The visitors started the second half strongly as they manage to level on the 54th minute.
The Ghanaian midfield maestro was then introduced into the game in the 60th minute. His introduction ensured that Al Ettifaq Maqaba piled lots of pressure on the host as he marshalled the midfield very well.
Saaka’s hard work paid off as he crowned his efforts with a stunning shot outside the 18-yard box to give his side the maximum three points.
The win leapfrogged Al Ettifaq Maqaba to the top of the league with 10 points after four games.
The young midfielder has been an instrumental figure for the Bahrain side since joining them his summer.
Saaka joined the Bahraini side on a season-long deal from Tema City FC with the option to extend to a long term after successful one month trial with the club.
