Mohammed Salisu will make his first Southampton start against Wolverhampton wonderers in the 5th round of the FA Cup at the Molineux this evening.
The Ghanaian defender joined the Hampshire club after an impressive season with Real Valladolid in the Spanish Laliga last season in a deal around £10.9 million.
However, the 21-year-old has to wait 183 days before been handed his debut against Wolves.
Ralph Hasenhüttl the manager of the saints ahead of the game told the press:
“We have Walker-Peters back and Mohammed Salisu is now able to play.
“There are still quite a few injured players, but I have more options now.”
