Ghana football association has reportedlydeclined Asante Kotoko request to move their home games from Accra sports stadium to Aliu Mahama sports stadium.
The Ghana Premier league giant wrote to the football governing body in the country appealing to them to allow them to play their home league games at Aliu Mahama sports stadium in Tamale instead of Accra sports stadium.
Asante Kotoko cited that there is a lot of pressure on Accra sports stadium since five(5) premier league clubs play their games at the same venue.
However, GFA has said the reason by the Porcupine Warriors was not enough hence can’t accept their request.
Kotoko adopted Accra sports stadium last season when renovations work at Baba Yara sports stadium began.
