The Communications Director for the Ghana Football Association (GFA), Henry Asante Twum, has pleaded on behalf of the Senior National Team for their abysmal performance against Mali yesterday.
The west African giant who has four African cups of nations to their name were thrashed by the Eagles of Mali by 3-0 win at Emir Hotel Sports Complex in Turkey yesterday.
Speaking in an interview with Kumasi-based radio station, Henry revealed that, everyone was shocked with the results and performance displayed by the Black Stars
“We were all not pleased with the performance of the Black Stars”- Henry Told Fox Fm
“Ghanaians should forgive us for such a poor performance from the team but You all should expect a better game against Qatar come Monday.” He ended.
The Black Stars will play their second friendly game against Qatar on Monday ahead of their preparations for 2021 AFCON double header qualifiers against Sudan.
