The Ghana Football Association has announced signing a partnership agreement with Italian sporting apparel company, Macron, this morning as the Official Match Ball of the Premier League, Division 1 and FA Cup competitions.
The sponsorship deal is worth 1.6 million Ghana cedis over the 3-year-period. The deal will also ensure the availability of 5000 balls per season as match day, training balls for all clubs and One Thousand and Five Hundred (1,500) pieces of bibs every season.
“It is a historic day and this gesture from Macron Ghana will affect every facet of our football development. Club owners would not be saddled with the burden of buying footballs” – GFA President Kurt Okraku stated after the unvailing
The deal is expected to help clubs cut cost allocated for bibs and balls for the next three years
