Honourable Ekow Quansah Hayford MP for Mfantsiman, a staunch politician who is a member of the ruling New Patriotic Party and the Chief Executive officer of Apam City Football club met his untimely death when armed robbers attacked and robbed his team while returning from a campaign trip on the Mankessim road on 9th September 2020.
He is believed to have been attacked at about 1:00 am Friday by 6 armed highway robbers.
An eye-witness who was sitting right next to the Member of Parliament narrated how the incident occurred.
According to him, the armed robbers stated that politicians are the cause of the hardship occurring in the country before shooting to death the member of parliament.
He also made other deep revelations.
