Midfield Maestro, Appiah MacCarthy, has today signed a 2-year contract extension with Ashantigold sporting club
The 24-year-old joined the Miners from Asokwa Deportivo in 2016-2017 season and after 4 years with the Obuasi-based club, Appiah has extended his stay to at least 2022.
Appiah was linked to a host of clubs such as Hearts of oak, Asante Kotoko and some clubs outside the country but the sensational midfielder has settled on stay put.
Appiah, extending his stay at Ashgold will bring a huge relief to the management of the club as they want to keep such a key player in the team ahead of their African campaign next season.
