Accra Great Olympics general manager, Oluboi Commodore, has picked on minister for youth and Sports for not doing enough to support the return of football in Ghana.
Ghana football has been in the wilderness and stakeholders are in the dark over the return of the game since the covid-19 out break and any attempt from GFA to bring it back has been shockingly unsuccessful
On 16th March 2020. President Nana Akufo-Addo announced the ban on all sporting related activities during national address after inter-ministerial committee on coronavirus response meeting.
Since then, The President has eased restrictions on other activities except football, and reacting to the situation Olu Boye thinks Sports minister Isaac Asiamah has not done enough
“Do we have a sports minister?-Oluboi quizzed on Atinka FM.
“He has not done anything amidst the covid-19 downturn on football.
“He is just there doing nothing to help the return of football, he should up his game and tell the president to ease the restrictions on football .” – He added.
