The Brazilian playmaker made his full Kotoko debut in a style on Monday afternoon at the Accra sports stadium when his club Asante Kotoko played Liberty professionals in matchday eight fixture of the 2020-2021 Ghana Premier league.
The 28-year-old creative player has come under serious objection even before kicking a ball from some section of the media and the public after signing for the Porcupine Warriors in November.
As it became clear that Gama will make his first start for the Kumasi-based club the former Asante Kotoko coach now sports analyst Opeele Boateng backed him to shine on Asempa Fm this morning
According to Opeele, Gama sent him a personal message thanking him for his kind words
“I just felt so emotional on my bed. Kotoko’s Fabio just sent me a WhatsApp message thanking me for my total support and asking for God blessing on my life
“Truly we don’t need to know one before we show them, love. I will appreciate this message forever.
