The 28-year-old Ghanaian international in commemoration of this special day in the life of the mother of his children took to his Instagram page and wrote:
“Happy Birthday to a special person who is bringing so much joy to my heart. I am thankful for every moment we spend together, and I wish our happiness never ends. I Love You ❤️”
Atsu and Marie-Claire married in 2012 — they’ve been together for 8 years now.
She met the Ghana international during his loan spell at Rio Ave in 2011 and they got married the next year.
They regularly post cute family pics on Instagram and Twitter of themselves and their two young sons.
The German, who is a hair and make up artist, revealed Atsu is passionate about charity.
She said: “He is a strong person, does not cry easily, but he is very concerned about humanitarian issues.”
Atsu is having a difficult time at ST James park after his coach Steve Bruce told him he is not going to count on him this season.
The former Chelsea man is looking for club and a move to the championships or Russia might be on the card after the summer transfer window shut for majority of European countries.
