The third goal was scored by the home team ASR Bamako in the 75th minute by running through the Hearts of Oak line.
Hearts of Oak manager David Ocloo made a few adjustments in an attempt to improve his team, but the Phobians lost the first leg in the preliminary second round of the CAF Confederation Cup.
When they host ASR Bamako in the second leg at the Accra Sports Stadium, Hearts of Oak will look to pull a hope in their defeat to eminate Real Bamako.
