Former Techiman City Striker Abass Sadick, has made a damning allegation against the club belonging to GFA President Kurt Okraku when discussing why his move toDreams FC shockingly collapsed in 2015.
Abass, 24, was on the verge of joining The Still Believe boys after a short stint with them but couldn’t secure a permanent deal.
Speaking on the matter as to why the deal fell through with Ntow Gyan on Nimdee fm, the lanky striker, who was 19 at the time alleged that, Dreams Fc proposed to him through his agent to reduce his age so the club can get him into the Ghana U17 national team.
“After I left Techiman City I went to Dreams FC for a while but I couldn’t sign for them because they made a proposal to me through my agent to reduce my age but I rejected that move,” Abass told Sunyani-based Nimdee FM.
“I didn’t batch because I felt I was already matured and didn’t have to reduce my age to play for U17,” he added.
Dreams FC has been involve in scandals in the past which got them demoted to Division One in 2016
Abass, currently ply his trade in Nigerian Professional Football League with giants Enugu Rangers having previously played for BA United.
