Ghanaian midfielder Anthony Annan has disclosed that, he’s not done yet with the senior national team insists he is available for call ups
The 33-year-old who plays for Inter Turku in the Finnish league was a great player for the Black stars in the past and many thought he’s retired after over seven years absence but the combative midfielder says he is not done yet
Speaking to Akoma FM in Kumasi, Annan stated “I am available for selection if he needs me, I am still playing active football in Finland”. Ghana is my country and I cannot turn my back to my nation if my services is needed.”
The player further added “I don’t know much about C. K. Akonnor but I know he was selected based on his competence With our support, he can surely deliver.” He concluded
Annan received his first senior call up for the national team on 20 March 2007 and went on to make 62 appearances, scoring two goals in the process.
