Ghanaian International Samuel Obeng Gyabaa, scored the only goal to grab a vital win for Real Oviedo against Racing Santander in a keenly contested game this evening.
Knowing a win could cement their stay in the spanish Segunda division, The home side started on the front foot and got their deserving goal in the 7’ minute through Obeng, the Ghanaian striker shoot the ball with his left foot into the center of the goal from the center of the box to put his team 1-0 up.
The visitors responded 2 minutes later but saw their goal chucked off by VAR, after extensive review, Nico Hidalgo handled the ball in the build up to the goal hence, the goal was ruled out.
Racing dominated the entire game but couldn’t find the back of the net after they were prevented by a well determined Oviedo side.
