Asante Kotoko captain, Felix Annan, has challenged Maxwell Konadu to be straight forward and tell journalists when he faced questions about his situation at the club.
The embattled shot-stopper lost his place in the Kotoko team to teammate Kwame Baah in the 2019/20 league season.
It all happened when Annan sought permission to absent himself from the team to prepare for his wedding after Match Week 3.
Upon his return, he has had to warm the bench as Baah was liked to him by coach Maxwell Konadu.
Baah however, kept the post in ten league games and helped the Porcupines to 5 wins, 1 defeat and 4 draws before the revocation of the season due to the Coronavirus pandemic.
Speaking to Germany-based online Radio station, the 25-year-old disclosed that he has no problem with his head coach, but asked him to be a man enough to explain to journalists if he is questioned about his situation
”I don’t have any problem with him [Maxwell Konadu], no issue at all, he has also not told me he has a problem with me”- Annan Told Tropical Radio
”I will be happy if he tells me in the face that he has a problem with me, but he hasn’t done that as we speak
”So whatever it is, He will be the best person to give answers to
”Because people who do their analysis of the situation do it as they see it so he will be the best person to give that explanation
”He is the coach so anything he should be bold enough to give explanations when he is asked.” he ended.
