Dreams FC took advantage of a defensive blunder the Phobians couldn’t handle to tie the score early in the half through Agyenim Boateng.
The Phobians put up a valiant fightback, but their game plan was foiled by Dream, causing them to end the first half without tying the score.
Hearts of Oak strikers had limited shooting ability in the second half as Dreams FC maintained their dominance.
A penalty kick by Samuel Inkoom for the Phobians was saved by Augustine Koomson for his team Dreams FC in the ensuing extra minute.
After defeating Accra Hearts of Oak in 90 minutes of exciting play, Dreams FC advances to the next round.
