Ghana Legend Asamoah Gyan has revealed, he told fellow compatriot Sulley Muntari in 2011 that, Jordan Henderson will be a great player in the few years to come.
Henderson, 30, led Liverpool to their first premier league title in 30 years and has been crown football writers association player of theyear.
Gyan, Muntari and Henderson shared the same dressing room in 2011 in Steve Bruce’s team at Sunderland, and discussing the career rise of his former teammate Henderson, Gyan said, he is not surprise with what the England international is doing and said he knew the midfielder was meant for greatness when he first saw him play.

“Henderson is one player who never give up, he is very committed and inspires his teammates even at that young age (21), he plays with passion and give his all for the team in every game, am not surprise seeing what he doing at Liverpool.” He ended.
Henderson left the stadium of light for Liverpool in the summer 2011 and On 1 June 2019, Henderson captained Liverpool in a 2–0 victory over Tottenham hotspurs in the 2019 Uefa Champions league final in Madrid, becoming the fifth Liverpool captain to lift the Champions League trophy,the club’s sixth overall. Liverpool then followed this up by winning the 2019 Uefa Super Cup, beating Chelsea on penalties.
In December 2019, Henderson led Liverpool to their first FIFA Club World Cup title, making them the only English club to win the treble of continental trophies.
