The Black Galaxies of Ghana were held to a 0-0 draw by Algeria in a friendly game at the Nelson Mandela Stadium on Saturday evening in Algiers.
Both teams share the spoils after a cagey encounter in both halves. The Ghanaian side were unable to go past the Algerian defense to put a ball into their next despite making several attempts, with Danland Ibrahim making incredible saves to prevent their opponents from putting a ball into his net.
Algeria also had some chances, but their inability to utilize them forced the game to a goalless stalemate in Algiers.
Despite drawing with the Algerians before the kickoff of the Africa Nations Championship (CHAN) tournament, the Galaxies are unbeaten in their pre-tournament games.
Early on, the Black Galaxies beat Egypt U20 2-1 and Egyptian Sid Al Hilal 3-1. The Ghanaian side is drawn in Group C together with Madagascar, Sudan, and Morocco.
