James Akaminko has penned an emotional goodbye letter to the Ashgold fans as he edges closer to a move to Asante Kotoko.
The 24-year-old central midfielder left the Obuasi-based club last month after his three-year stay came to an end. The management of AshantiGold offered the Ghana International a contract extension but Akaminko rejected it saying he will only play for Asante Kotoko.
In a letter spotted by Halftimegh.com, the Dynamic midfielder conveyed his appreciation to the entire AshantiGold SC team for the amazing supports since joining the team.
Akaminko has joined the likes of Shafiu Mumuni, Akwasi Nti, Stephen Owusu, Emmanuel Osei Baffour, Benedict Wobenu and Musa Mohammed to leave Ashgold.
