The exuberant Ghanaian midfielder, Thomas Teye Partey, stated categorically that he’s always ready to serve the nation in case of anything.
Ghana defeated Zimbabwe yesterday at Cape Coast Stadium, with Kudus Mohammed’s first goal in the 5th entry minutes of the game.
Partey’s second goal in the 66th minute restored Ghana back to the lead, after Knowledge Muzona of Zimbabwe equalized for his country through a penalty caused by Alexander Dziku.
Ghana never gave up while in the lead with 2 goals to 1. The Skipper, Dede, netted a nice goal for Ghana, getting to the latter part of the game, which is the 88th minute.
Kudus Mohammed and the wingers pushed more to create a lot of chances.
“Everywhere on the pitch where I can help the national team, I’m ready to sacrifice everything.
“I don’t mind defending, I don’t mind attacking, but every time I have to play in Ghana I’m ready to sacrifice anything and play in any position. ” Thomas Partey said in a post-match press conference.
The intellectual midfielder joined Arsenal on October 5, 2020, from Spanish side Atletico Madrid, after triggering his release clause.
