Former Member of Parliament for Tema East Honorable Titus Glover has reacted to the sacking of Black stars coach Charles Kwablah Akonnor
The former legislator dared Ghana FA last week after reports came out that Coach Akonnor was going to be sacked.
According to Hon Titus, the GFA President Kurt Okraku was imposing his players and forcing coach Akonnor to make certain decisions hence his failure
Hon Titus dared the FA to sack Coach Akonnor and face his wrath
This warning couldn’t scare the executive council members as they’ve gone ahead to sack coach Akonnor
Reacting to the news, Hon Titus sounded very disappointed in Kurt as he believes coach Akonnor could’ve done the job but was not allowed
“I’m not surprised at all, I got the info last Friday,” Hon Titus told Angel FM 102.9
“They’ve decided already, I still maintain my position, they made CK’s work difficult for him.
“They didn’t allow CK to do his job
“Posterity will judge Kurt Okraku”
Ghana FA has set up a three-member committee to find Coach Akonnor’s replacement in 72 hours.
Ghana will face Zimbabwe in a crunch world cup qualifier games next month.
