Ghana Football Association has set up a three-member committee to look for the replacement of Coach Charles Kwablan Akonnor in the next 72 hours
Coach Akonnor was sacked yesterday after a shambolic performance in the last 20 months as the head coach of the senior national team the Black Stars of Ghana.
A close source to Halftimegh.com can confirm that two expatriates are in line to take up the challenge, Herve Renard who in the past has expressed his love to coach Ghana and former Ghana coach Milovan Rajevac who in the last 20 years has been very successful with Ghana.
Renard who has won two AFCON trophies with Zambia and Ivory Coast is currently with Saudi Arabia and on a hooping $100000 monthly salary which might be a stumbling block
Milovan who is currently unattached will be the ideal man to lead the Black stars ahead of next month’s crunch world cup qualifier against Zimbabwe
Ghana is third on the group G table with three points after two games.
