Former member of Parliament for Tema west Honorable Titus Glover has accused Ghana Football Association President Kurt Okraku of sabotaging Black stars coach Charles Kwablan Akonnor
According to the former legislator, when the government decided on CK to take over from Kwesi Appiah as Black stars head coach, Kurt didn’t like the idea as he wanted to bring a white coach
Since he didn’t support CK’s appointment from the beginning Kurt has decided to make the work of the coach difficult
Glover who is a leading member in the ruling party, New Patriotic party has warned Kurt not to try any thing like sacking CK
“When they sacked Kwesi Appiah, Kurt Okraku wanted to bring in white coach and President Nana Addo stopped them so when Charles Akonnor was appointed he was not happy and has decided to sabotage him”- He told Oman FM
“I have heard that the GFA will hold a meeting today and they want to sack CK Akonnor.
We are daring them, Kurt, we are daring you! We are daring him. We want the Black Stars to progress.”
CK Akonnor has played 10 games since his appoint 23 months ago, he has a win percentage of 40%
