Ghana Premier League champions Accra Hearts of Oak have terminated the contract of striker Abednego Tetteh after he failed to impress, Halftimegh.com can confirm.
The 30-year-old signed a two-year deal ahead of the second round of the eventual truncated league.
After failing to establish himself in the team, the Phobian club has today parted ways.
Coach Samuel Boadu didn’t include the lanky striker from his 36-man squad to compete in the CAF champions league campaign
The striker took to his social media handle to thank Hearts faithful:
“Goodbye mates, we shall meet again maybes as opponents or somewhere else. Good luck in your CAF competition and the coming League. The moments we had still remain in my heart ❤️ and mind 🥰🥰🥰🥰. To the beautiful supporters thanks for your supports. Not forgetting the team doctors love you guys. Cowards never start.
Weak never finish
And the strong never quit.. 🥲😑🥲🥲
Tetteh previously played for Sudanese sides Al Hilal Omdurman and Al Hilal El Obeid before spells in India with Real Kashmir and Trau.
