Experienced skipper of Accra Great Olympics, Gladson Awako has revealed that he’s not in rush to join any club.
The Phobians have shown keen interest in the seasoned midfielder as well as Medeama, who wants his services to beef up their squad for next season.
“I know some teams have expressed interest in me but at the moment, I have six months left on my contract which I want to honour,” he told Asempa FM.
“I know Hearts of Oak and Medeama SC have all expressed interest in me but I will make the right decision at the right time,” Awako further added.
He bagged four Man-of-the-Match awards and player of the month award once.
“Hearts of Oak are playing in Africa and every player wants to play in the CAF Champions League but the right decision will be made,” he concluded.
The top talent was named in CK Akonnor’s squad for Ghana’s final two 2020 Africa Cup of Nations [Afcon] qualifiers against South Africa and Sao Tome.
Awako featured against Sao Tome when he was introduced into the game in the second half.
