Final Whistle Football Club recorded their first win of 2020/2021 Division two-season last Saturday against Platinum FC, thanks to a first-half wonder strike from forward Tahiru Salifu.
The game initially commenced after one hour of the actual scheduled time due to the referee’s inability to reach the grounds early hence the game was played after some minutes after 4 o’clock.
The situation got unbearably disappointing when the referee was neither supported by the linesman nor any match commissioner.
This situation did not deter the players of Final Whistle, who genuinely dominated the game for the majority of the entire 90minutes.
This victory means Final Whistle has six points and has moved out of the last position on the zone 7 league table, surpassing Platinum Football Club.
Not forgetting, Final Whistle FC have eluded six(6) vital points for allegedly failing to pay their officiating fees, hence three points were been awarded to both Na God FC and Shelter FC FC for their matchday six and match day seven league fixtures respectively.
