AS Monaco is progressing in talks with AZ Alkmaar to sign Myron Boadu. According to Fabrizio Romano, personal terms are set to be agreed upon with Boadu and his agent Mino Raiola who’s working on the deal.
Boadu enjoyed an impressive 2020/21, scoring 15 goals and making 38 appearances in all competitions.
The 20-year old striker is tipped to replace Stevan Jovetic in the squad, who did not have his contract extended after it expired last month.
Born in Amsterdam, Netherlands, Boadu is of Ghanaian descent. He joined the AZ academy in 2013. In 2018 he made his competitive debut for the club in an Eredivisie match against PEC Zwolle.
